Your Recruitment Service Options

TrusteeWorks offers a range of trustee recruitment services designed to reflect the needs of your organisation. All organisations signing up to a TrusteeWorks service have access to great information and resources on governance and are offered support throughout the charity trustee journey.

1. The Managed Service

With our Managed Service you will have access to Reach’s extensive register of skilled volunteers. We will reduce your workload by finding prospective charity trustees interested in joining your organisation and possessing the right skills and experience for your role.

This service will

• offer you advice and support in defining an interesting role which will appeal to potential trustees
• search our register for volunteers with the right skills and experience
• promote your role to suitable candidates
• prepare interested volunteers by giving them details about the role and your organisation
• forward you details of people interested  in exploring the trustee role with you

The Managed Service has a registration fee of £75 plus VAT per role which covers our initial administration and candidate search.

2. The Premium Service

We know that recruiting trustees is a time consuming business and so with our Premium Service Reach will take much of the work off your hands. This service is tailored to meet your requirements so maximises the chances of the right potential charity trustee coming forward.  We  work closely with you to understand your organisation's needs and future plans and then actively promote your role.

This service will

• work with you closely to clarify your charity trustee needs
• provide guidance on making your role attractive to candidates
• create a professional recruitment pack for candidates tailored to your role
• personally review Reach’s register of candidates who fit your brief
• on your behalf, approach selected candidates on an individual basis, encouraging them to consider your role 
• brief interested candidates fully on your role and answer their questions
• provide you with a short list of well briefed candidates who have expressed a clear interest in your role
• adapt to your recruitment processes and timetables

In addition, we are able to offer supporting national or local press advertising and on-line promotion of your vacancy and manage the enquiry process through to the candidate shortlist stage.

The Premium Service has an initial registration fee of £125 plus VAT per role.    A further charge of £250 is payable when Reach provides you with a shortlist of candidates to the agreed specification.

Recruitment advertising is offered at a discount through the special deals negotiated by the TrusteeWorks service partners.  Your advertising plan will be agreed with you and priced on an individual basis.

3. Bespoke Service

Our Bespoke Recruitment Service is delivered by Prospectus and offers a high intervention recruitment service with a full external search and selection facility for trustees. Our consultants will work closely with you to find people with the right experience and skills for senior board vacancies, developing an in-depth understanding of your priorities and needs, as well as the unique nature of your organisation. Recruitment advertising in national, local or specialist press will be offered as part of the service.
