Finding the right resources and information

TrusteeWorks offers clear information on good governance, trustee recruitment and other board support put together in a helpful and user friendly format. We are building a resource library of useful information which will be added to over time and welcome your feedback.

Reduction of your trustee recruitment workload

Senior staff and trustee time is valuable and recruiting trustees can be time consuming: fielding unsuitable applicants, responding to enquiries for further information, reviewing about interested volunteers who may or may not have the right skills. Reach takes much of this burden from you: we filter out candidates who do not meet your key requirements, answer volunteer enquiries and provide them with the information they need, and we forward you comprehensive details of suitable and interested volunteers.

Access to a register of volunteers with valuable skills and expertise

We recruit volunteers from a range of sources with the skills, interests and experience relevent to our organisations and have over 2,000 registered and available volunteers at any one time. We specifically target volunteers interested in trusteeship and provide them information so they better understand what being a trustee entails and can make an informed decision on selecting a role.

We have experience in the art of presenting trustee roles in such a way as to attract the best volunteers.  We also review all roles registered with us and will offer you guidance if we think the articulation of the role could be improved upon.

Active promotion of your role to Reach’s skilled volunteers

As well as publishing the role through our website so volunteers themselves can search for opportunities, we will personally search our register for volunteers who suit the profile you created, and encourage them to consider your opportunity.
