Our VolunteersReach skilled volunteers are as diverse as the voluntary organisations they serve. They can be young or old, male or female, retired or still working. Many are working part-time, taking a career break or between jobs. They come from all three sectors – public, private or voluntary – and from a broad range of cultural and ethnic backgrounds. Their interests vary widely, as does the time they are able to give to volunteering. Reach skilled volunteers are at work in all the English regions, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland. Reach skilled volunteers have one important thing in common: they have high-quality managerial, business, technical or professional skills that can be put to work for the benefit of others.
