Reach signs up for London's volunteering charterLondon's Volunteer Management Charter has been developed by Greater London Volunteering's Experts in Volunteering Project in close consultation with the Volunteer Centre Network. Reach has endorsed the Charter and so commits to -support this initiative by promoting the use of the Charter and Health Check to strengthen the volunteer management practice -complete the Volunteer Management Health Check. Queens Award for Voluntary ServiceThe Queen's Award for Voluntary Service, the MBE for volunteer groups, was created in 2002 to recognise the outstanding contributions made by voluntary organisations in local communities across the UK. To date 750 organisations have received the Award from Her Majesty but many groups are still unaware of their eligability for this prestigious offer.
