Reach helps skilled volunteers use their experience to contribute to the voluntary sector, allowing them to take on new challenges and make a difference to their community.
Who can be a Reach volunteer?
If you would relish the variety and stimulation that skilled volunteering can bring, then Reach is for you.
We would love to hear from you if you have three or more years' experience in management, IT, marketing, accountancy, project management, HR, finance, business or many other areas.
Our volunteers are varied, some are retired, others are not in work or on career breaks, many are working either full or part time. We have volunteers of all ages across the UK.
The unique Reach service
Our personalised service allows volunteers to choose for themselves what kind of organisation they would like to get involved with, whether it be a local group or a big charity.
It may be that you are interested in a particular area such as child welfare, the environment or the arts. You may be an accountant wishing to transfer your valuable experience to a treasurers role. You may have many hours to spare during the week or an hour or two in the evening. Perhaps a short term project appeals to you, or the fixed term position of a trustee appointment, others prefer an ongoing role. The benefit of the Reach service is that you can shape the role or roles that you take around your individual needs and passions.
After you tell us about your skills by registering and sending us your CV you can explore our list of registered roles yourself and register for a regular email containing details of roles in your skills area. If you wish, we can also suggest opportunities to you.

Registering with Reach
Registering is simple, free for volunteers and carries no obligation. Simply email the form and your CV to us at mail@reachskills.org.uk. No organisation will contact you until you give specific permission for your name to be put forward. Want to find out more about the Reach process? Click here to read our guide to the process.
