We have a vision of a society where every voluntary organisation can access the skills and support they need to be successful.

The Reach expertise

Reach has been boosting the resources of the voluntary sector for over 30 years. We work with over 10,000 organisations across the UK. There are over 6,000 skilled volunteers working on any given day. 

Each year Reach volunteers contribute £31 million of expertise to the organisations they assist.

A charity ourselves, we have a large and committed team of skilled volunteers who support our small paid staff in providing the core of our service both nationally in Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland and regionally throughout England.

Reach in the regions

We currently have funding for a regional team in the North East of England helping us to maintain personal contact with organisations and volunteers in the area. The team in the North East have been particularly successful at project based work and have the capacity to increase the scale of this work . We plan to build on this model, rolling it out across the entire country to help us realise our mission to "enable voluntary and community organisations to improve their effectiveness".
